The Carers Council and its meetings are open to anyone, even those not resident in Nottinghamshire, who either care for or who have an interest in those who care for people with adult mental health issues, and also those who work or volunteer in the mental health sector.
We invite speakers to share information, bring together carers who are facing similar situations, and provide important support and a break from your caring role. Why not pop along and say hello? Lunch and refreshments provided. No referral is required. You do not need to be registered as a carer or have had a carer's assessment to attend. We encourage new members to register with us, but you can attend our open meetings even if you are not registered as a member. We would be grateful if you could advise us (our contact form) if you are planning to attend our open meeting but this is not essential.
